A 98ª edição da cerimônia do Oscar anunciou a aguardada lista de vencedores na noite deste domingo (15), em um evento realizado Dolby Theatre em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos.
Apesar de estar contemplado em cinco categorias, o Brasil não saiu vencedor na premiação. O filme “O Agente Secreto” perdeu as categorias de Melhor Filme, Melhor Filme Internacional, Melhor Ator (Wagner Moura) e Melhor Elenco, enquanto Adolpho Veloso não levou a estatueta de Melhor Fotografia.
“Pecadores”, que assumia uma liderança histórica de indicações até então com 16 indicações, levou apenas quatro: Melhor Ator, Melhor Roteiro Original, Melhor Trilha Sonora e Melhor Fotografia.
Já o maior vencedor da noite foi “Uma Batalha Após a Outra”, que levou Melhor Filme, Melhor Direção, Melhor Elenco, Melhor Ator Coadjuvante (Sean Penn), Melhor Roteiro Adaptado e Melhor Montagem.
